Documentation
A complete guide to every feature in CMA Studio — from generating AI-powered reports to managing your team.
The dashboard is your home base. It provides a real-time overview of all activity across CMA Studio.
KPI Cards — Four cards at the top show your total CMA count, total profile searches, how many reports are currently processing, and how many failed in the last 7 days.
Documents Generated Chart — An area chart displays the number of CMAs and profile searches generated per day over the last 30 days. This helps you spot trends and peak usage periods.
Recent Activity — A live feed of the most recent webhook events, showing status (processed, failed, queued), the source system, and direct links to the resulting CMA or profile search report.
Comparative Market Analysis reports are the core of CMA Studio. Each CMA is generated automatically when a webhook arrives from your LeadSimple pipeline.
List View — Browse all CMAs in a sortable, searchable table. Columns include property address, contact name, status, pipeline name, and creation date. Use the checkbox column to select multiple CMAs for bulk operations.
Detail View — Click any CMA to see the full report. The detail page includes: - An embedded HTML preview of the generated report - A metadata sidebar showing contact info, pipeline details, AI model used, token consumption, and processing timestamp - Buttons to download the PDF version or open the HTML version in a new tab
Status Tracking — Each CMA progresses through statuses: queued (waiting to be processed), processing (AI is generating the report), ready (complete and available), or failed (an error occurred). Failed reports display the error message for troubleshooting.
Bulk Download — Select multiple CMAs using the checkboxes, then click "Download ZIP" in the floating action bar to export them all as a single archive.
Profile searches are contact research dossiers generated alongside or independently of CMAs. They compile background information about a contact using AI.
List View — Similar to CMAs, profile searches are displayed in a searchable table with columns for contact name, status, email addresses, and creation date.
Detail View — Each profile search detail page shows: - An embedded HTML preview of the contact dossier - Metadata including contact type, email addresses, phone numbers, AI model, and token usage - PDF download and HTML view buttons
Automated Generation — Profile searches are triggered by the same webhook as CMAs. When a new lead arrives, CMA Studio generates both a CMA report and a contact dossier in parallel.
API tokens authenticate incoming webhooks from LeadSimple (or any other system) to CMA Studio.
Creating Tokens — Click "Create token" and give it a descriptive name. Choose an expiry period: never, 30 days, 90 days, or 1 year. The plaintext token is shown exactly once after creation — copy it immediately.
Using Tokens — Include the token in your webhook's HTTP headers as Authorization: Bearer cma_.... CMA Studio validates the token on every incoming request.
Token Management — The tokens table shows each token's name, prefix (for identification), last used timestamp, expiry date, and current status (active or revoked).
Revoking Tokens — Click "Revoke" on any active token to immediately invalidate it. Any system using that token will start receiving 401 errors. This action cannot be undone — you'll need to create a new token.
CMA Studio uses Clerk for sign-in and organization membership. New teammates are invited from the Clerk Dashboard (your organization’s members / invitations), not from this app.
User List — Administrators can view all users who have access to CMA Studio: avatar, name, email, role, active status, and last login time.
Roles — Two roles are available: - Admin — Full access including user management - User — Access to dashboard, CMAs, profile searches, and API tokens
Editing Users — Admins can change a user's role or toggle their active status. Deactivated users cannot sign in until reactivated.
Every generated report is available in multiple formats for maximum flexibility.
HTML Reports — Each CMA and profile search produces a styled HTML document that can be viewed in-browser or shared as a link.
PDF Reports — Professional PDF versions are generated alongside the HTML, formatted for print with proper typography, metadata headers, and page layout.
Bulk Export — Select multiple documents from any list view and download them all as a ZIP archive containing the PDF files.
Email Notifications — When a report finishes generating, CMA Studio sends an email notification to the associated user with a direct link to view the report.
